1961 Cadillac Jacqueline

In 1961, the styling house Pininfarina wanted to create a car for Cadillac to show at the Paris Auto Show that year.  The car was named after the new American First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy and looks remarkably tasteful compared to contemporary Cadillacs of the time.

I was going to do a writeup on it myself, but Conceptcarz already did a wonderful one, so I'll just suggest you go there after looking at these, and the other pictures of the Starlight and the Skylight, styled along the same themes.

Here, also, is the similarly styled Cadillac Starlight and Cadillac Skylight cars.
